Nuflow are the specialists in trenchless pipe repair and relining. We provide a simple, practical, cost effective solution to stormwater, sewerage and pressure pipe repairs.

Utilising the latest technologies in pipe camera investigations, high pressure jet cleaning and epoxy resins, you will never have to worry about broken, cracked, corroded or blocked pipes again.  Nuflow can repair any type of pipe in diameters from 40 to 1000mm (for drainage systems) or 12 to 300mm (for pressure systems) with minimal disruption.

If you have stormwater, sewerage or pressure pipes under a solid surface, this presents no problem for Nuflow. We have two technologies available.

Repair system for sewerage & stormwater lines

Utilising the latest technologies in pipe camera investigations, high pressure jet cleaning and epoxy resins, we can find and solve any problem with drainage systems. Our pipe rehabilitation process of cured-in-place pipe relining, is one of the most versatile repair systems in the world. We can repair any type of pipes with minimal disruption, including PVC, earthenware or clay, asbestos, galvanised steel, cast iron, copper, concrete and HDPE.

We can repair diameters in from 40mm to 1000mm using the Nuflow pipe repair and reline method. If you have stormwater, sewerage, trade waste or potable water pipes under tons of concrete, roads or factory floors, this presents no problem for Nuflow. Almost any shape pipe can be relined by Nuflow, including Vertical or Horizontal, Square, Rectangular or Round pipes, 90 degree bends, P traps, S traps, Junctions and Elbows.

Nuflow are the specialists in Lateral Connection Liners (LCL) for any type of junction. The Nuflow pipe reline and repair system completely lines the whole junction in one hit.  We can reline any type of pipe, diameter or length combination. From 45 or 90 degrees. The Nuflow process of cure-in-place, is the most versatile repair system in the world. Download our LCL brochure.

What are my options?

  • Digging - If the damaged section is in an area that can be accessed with a small excavator then digging can be an option.
  • Pipe Relining – Is a no digging, no mess, no disruption solution.

How does the Nuflow system work?

  • Before any relining takes place, the drains must first be inspected and surveyed. We use a pipe camera to identify and locate the cause of the problem. The drain is then cleared using high pressure water jets; once the blockage is cleared the pipe is then ready for the liner installation.
  • Our liner is custom made from fabric that is impregnated with specially formulated two part epoxy resin that sets hard, becoming a structural repair, in a matter of hours allowing minimal disruption and inconvenience.
  • Once the liner is tailor made and prepared, it is inserted in to your drain via any opening in the drain. It is positioned in place with a camera and inflated, forcing the liner to take the shape of the pipe filling voids or cracks and lining over any damaged section. After a curing period, the internal bladder of the liner is removed, completing the process and making the drain ready for use immediately.

On completion of all work carried out, you will receive a before and after DVD of your drain, 10 year installation guarantee and a limited manufacturer’s warranty of 40 years.

Repair systems for potable & pressure lines

Using the latest in epoxy lining technology designed for pressure systems from 12 to 300mm, Redline is a simple and highly effective cure-in-place pipe restoration techniques that completely coast the inside of pipes. You will never have to worry about pin-hole leaks, poor water pressure, unscheduled shut-downs, pipe corrosion or contaminants leaching into water supplies again.

Unlike conventional repair and replace options that can often cause a whole site to be shut down whilst work is performed, this process can be managed to ensure minimum disruption to operations. Redline has been used successfully in a variety of applications including hospitals, high rise apartments, factories, fire suppression systems and homes.

Applications

  • Applicable for use in host pipes which are designed to hold pressure, consisting of any arterial including metal, iron, steel, plastic, concrete, and fiberglass in diameters ranging from 12mm to 300mm. For use in the following pipe systems, in any infrastructure, in every market sector from residential, commercial or industrial hot and cold drinking water lines to air and water systems, heating and cooling lines.  We can Redline 1 to 1000 metres.
  • Redline can be used in air, fire suppression, gas and HVAC systems.

How it Works

  • The project begins with mapping the internal plumbing system or pipelines. A plan is implemented to minimize disruption and afford the most efficient timeline for work completion. The piping system is inspected for integrity and spot repairs are made to excessively worn joints and fittings. Temporary bypass water piping may be installed. The system to be repaired is then drained and air-dried. After pressure testing for leaks, the pipes are prepared for cleaning.
  • Pipes are dried with high volumes of heated air. A safe abrading agent is blasted through the pipe system, removing rust, scales and corrosion by-products that have built up over time. These particles are collected in a holding unit for later disposal. Air is applied once again to remove fine particles leaving a pipe that has opened back to full working diameter, is clean and ready to reline.
  • Optimal internal pipe surface temperature is created prior to epoxy coating. Another air pressure leak test is performed. Conditioned air is then introduced into the pipe to uniformly distribute the epoxy coating throughout the pipe segment. Following the coating application, conditioned and controlled air flows through the piping to facilitate epoxy curing.
  • After the epoxy coating cures, valves and couplings are refitted. A final leak test and inspection confirms lining integrity. Water quality, volume, and flow tests confirm system functionality.

Benefits

  • Redline is UL certified safe to NSF/ANSI Standard 61. The epoxy was developed and patented by the U.S. Navy and has been successfully used by Nuflow technicians since the mid-1980s for the U.S. government and in domestic, commercial, industrial, and other applications. Testing engineers estimate the life expectancy of the epoxy is roughly 100 years.
  • Redlining is as much as 50 percent less expensive than traditional pipe replacement costs such as repiping. Lining is a non-invasive process, so there is no destruction to buildings, hardscape or landscape. Reconstruction costs for repiping are as much as 60 percent of direct pipe repair costs and Redline eliminates the need for reconstruction.
  • The Redline process takes a fraction of the time of traditional repipe methods. For example, a repiping job that would normally take a full 6 to 8 weeks can take as little as 4 days to complete.
  • Redlining is quick, quiet, non-invasive, and requires no displacement of a building’s occupants. When needed, temporary bypass water systems are quickly installed to provide uninterrupted water service so that occupants, businesses, and clientele may continue business as usual in an undisturbed environment.
  • Redlining can be performed in any metal pipe in any building, structure, or environment, above or below ground. Lining has been installed by Nuflow technicians in the piping systems for hotels, high-rise apartments, hospitals, restaurants, airports, schools, museums, Navy ships and many other commercial and industrial companies.  The solution is available for potable water pipes as well as hot water recirculation systems, fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems, chiller lines and HVAC systems.

Redline as an Eco Trend

  • Lining is an eco-friendly solution that creates no waste for landfills or for recycling and generates no carbon emissions during manufacturing.
  • Lining prevents toxic heavy metals from leaching into drinking water and prevents leaks and breaks in pipe systems that contribute to water pollution and cause billions of dollars annually in water damage.
  • Revolutionary, green technologies such as epoxy lining have replaced temporary, outdated pipe replacement methods as an eco-friendly trend that efficiently and economically controls pollution of our water sources and helps conserve valuable water supplies.
