Location: Ewingar Court, Helensvale, Gold Coast Work Performed: Nuflow Redlined all the internal 15mm copper pipes, both the hot and cold water systems. Benefits: There was no disruption to the tenants of the flat and the flow rate was improved by nearly 200% in most outlets. 15mm copper potable water pipes were Redlined, extending the life of the pipes by 50 years and there will no more sudden flooding caused by pin hole leaks. Location: Allawah Street, Bundall, Gold Coast Work Performed: Nuflow Redlined all the potable water pipes, from the meter to the internal hot and cold pipe system within the house. Benefits: The flow rate was improved by nearly 100%, there will be no more leeching of metals and rust, no more bad taste in the water and no more internal corrosion. Before Redline, the pipes capacity was reduced to as low as 35% due to corrosion. After Redline, the pipes were opened up to more than 95% of their original capacity. Read more
Location: Church Road, Bellbowrie, Brisbane Work Performed: Nuflow cleaned and Redlined all the internal 15mm copper hot water pipes as there was a leaking service contained under the slab in the kitchen. Benefits: The life of the pipes has been extended exponentially and the flow rates at each fixture was also increased all without having to destroy any surfaces. Without Redline the only option the owners had was to excavate the kitchen floor destroying the tiled floors to access the leaking pipe. Read more
Location: Milan Apartments, Main Beach, Gold Coast Work Performed: 50mm Pool Pipe Reline - of pipes that fed the lagoon pool and hot tub. Benefits: Nuflow was able to repair the pipe without having to close down the pools and excavating to replace the pipes, meaning there was no disruption to guests and lengthy delays. Milan, which was completed in Mid-2008, offers exclusive holiday and permanent residence living, with extensive resort-like facilities including a heated lagoon and lap pools. Read more
Location: Zillmere Train Station, Brisbane Work Performed: Relined 41m of 150mm Earthenware and PVC sewer line which was badly broken and had seriously displaced joins for Queensland Rail. Benefits: Relining the pipe meant both train lines could remain open during the repair process. A busy train route was under threat as the tracks ran over a main sewer line that was in extremely poor condition. Closing the tracks would have resulted in major disruptions to commuters. Read more
Location: Overlea Street, Nudgee, Brisbane Work Performed: Reline 1m of 100mm PVC sewer line that was filled with gravel due to a serious break. Benefits: Nuflow was able to reline without any excavation and disruption and have the sewer unblocked and working properly in less than a days work. The sewer line of this brand new house was completely broken, allowing gravel to enter the pipe, undermining the integrity of the slab. Read more
Location: Church Street, Brisbane Work Performed: Relined 4m of 375mm concrete sewer line that had two large holes in the top and side for Urban Utilities, the government department in charge of the Sewers throughout Brisbane. Benefits: The Nuflow solution only took one evening, did not cause any traffic problems and was significantly cheaper and safer than traditional excavation and is a permanent repair. One of Brisbane’s major arterial routes, Church Street, was collapsing gradually causing major disruptions in the city. Read more
Location: Tugun, Gold Coast Work Performed: Reline of storm water pipe. Benefits: The reline saved over 3 months delay. During the construction of the Tugun Bypass, water monitoring observed an increase in flow of water through the storm water system even during times of minimum rain fall. Read more
Location: Mingaletta Street, Ashmore Work Performed: 15 meter reline of storm water pipe. Benefits: No excavation required resulting in no road closures. The road above the line was constantly being patched after heavy rain. After one particular storm the road collapsed. Read more
Location: Townsville, North Queensland Work Performed: 70 meters of 100mm earthenware pipe, along with 5 meters of 100mm copper pipe relining. Benefits: Hundreds of thousands of dollars were saved and no damaged to building. Jezzine Barracks has been used for defence purposes since the late 1800’s. The Department of Defence along with the Commonwealth and State Governments committed to a $40 million dollar redevelopment plan. Read more
Location: Circular Quay, Sydney Work Performed: Reline of four 150mm downpipes with continuous line lateral connections. Displacement of Occupants: None Constructed in the late 1950’s, the AMP Building at Circular Quay Sydney underwent $90 million refurbishment. Nuflow was contacted as no other system of pipe relining in Australia was able to carry out a project of this magnitude. Read more
Location: Woolloongabba, Brisbane Work Performed: 3 meter reline of sewer pipe. Benefits: Saving up to $16,000.00 and Nuflow was able to work around busy periods. The Hotels toilets were backing up and during extreme use would overflow. This issue was further compounded as the waste from the main bar entered the same sewer line. Read more |
